Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity (GDMHFH) and the Greater Des Moines Home Builders Association (HBA) are combining efforts to build two homes during the week of August 25-29, as part of the Home Builders Blitz.
The homes will be built at 1226 and 1228 10th Street in Des Moines. Over 75% of the materials and all of the labor will be donated by members of the HBA.
GDMHFH has undertaken quick builds in the past, but never two homes in five days. Watch this space for updated photos as the builds progress.
