Sales & Marketing Council

The common goal of Sales & Marketing Councils across the country is to further professionalism in the homebuilding industry by providing top-notch sales and marketing education, recognition and the opportunity to exchange ideas to help builders sell more homes.

The SMC exists within the Home Builders Association of Greater Des Moines to educate and improve the sales and marketing skills of member builders, REALTORS®, on-site sales representatives and industry support members.

Objectives of the Council include:

• Promoting professional standards and ethical practices among sales & marketing professionals.
• Providing a joint marketing opportunities to benefit all members.
• Providing a line of communication from the consumer to professional builders.
• Recognition and rewards for marketing and sales professionals in the homebuilding industry.
• Providing an opportunity to network with other sales and marketing professionals in the industry.
